EcoFest Encinitas: ILACSD DIY Activities & Clothing Swap

Join I Love A Clean San Diego at EcoFest Encinitas for our free DIY Low-Waste Activities & Clothing Swap on Sunday, June 28 from 12-4PM at Encinitas Community Park to learn accessible ways to live a more sustainable lifestyle!

During the DIY Activities, attendees will have the opportunity to make and take home low waste cleaning, beauty and personal care products. Participants will learn:

  • Zero waste practices to adopt in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and other household common areas
  • Sustainable product swaps
  • Recommendations for local zero waste businesses

At our Clothing Swap, continue your spring cleaning, empty out the items in the back of your closet and exchange for some secondhand pieces. Slow down your consumption of new clothing by swapping pre-loved items so they can find another home and stay out of our landfills! Let’s recirculate our clothing back into our local community.

  • Please be mindful of donation amount and bring no more than 1 small bag of items (around 10-15 items per person)
  • Ensure donations are lightly used- no rips, stains, or odors
  • You don’t need to donate in order to take items home with you, anyone can bring home a new outfit!

Walk ins welcome, free registration is recommended to stay up to date with all event details and reminders.  Thank you to the City of Encinitas & EcoFest for sponsoring this event. We can’t wait to see you at Encinitas Community Park on June 28!
