I Love A Clean San Diego empowers residents, organizations, and businesses to create tangible difference in our local environment through volunteer opportunities, self-led cleanups, and empowering them with recycling resources.
School Recycling Program
I Love A Clean San Diego helps schools adopt new habits that lead to a more sustainable future. Through the School Recycling Program, ILACSD provides comprehensive support in helping to get schools and districts on board with more environmentally preferred practices. ILACSD will train school staff, procure and distribute needed materials, and assist students to ensure long-term success.
Sustainable Solutions Fair
Our Sustainable Solutions Fair is a sustainability celebration! This family-friendly event offers hands-on environmental activities for all ages, connects the public to sustainable businesses and organizations, and awakens environmental passion with a panel discussion featuring local environmental leaders. Swap Events
In a time of mass-manufacturing and consumerism, I Love A Clean San Diego’s (ILACSD) swap programs are aimed at changing the way San Diegans’ think about how we purchase, use, and dispose of products. At ILACSD’s swap events held throughout the County of San Diego, residents are encouraged to donate gently used items, as well as take home their favorite finds, giving pre-loved items a second life. There is one rule to this thrifting pop-up: everything is FREE!
DIY Workshops
Are you interested in learning a new skill or craft? Do you have broken items you can’t bare to throw away? Join us at one of our upcoming DIY workshops, where you will learn skills such as embroidery, shoe repair, candle making, and more. Our DIY workshops teach residents new skills, all while reducing our environmental footprint.
