Join I Love A Clean San Diego as we team up with the County of San Diego for our FREE Green Routines Workshop on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 10AM-12PM at the Water Conservation Garden (12122 Cuyamaca College Dr W, El Cajon, CA 92019). This is the first of a series of three zero waste-themed workshops at this location. Whether you’re starting your zero waste journey or ready to take it to the next level, come learn how to set yourself up for zero waste success!
Through educational booths and hands-on activities, you will learn ways to go zero waste in the kitchen, bathroom, and common areas throughout the home. We will discuss the importance of a zero waste lifestyle and how to confidently implement sustainable practices into various aspects of your life.
Hands-on activities will be available for all ages, including an eco-kid’s craft and a make-and-take project!
Make and Take: DIY Toothpsate
Kid’s Craft: Tin Can planters
Raffle Prizes: Stasher Bag, Lotus Reusable Produce Bags
In addition, attendees can bring in gently used items you were planning to donate and participate in the Swap ‘n’ Shop! Participants can exchange or donate those items giving them a second life and keeping them out of the landfill. Some example items that have been brought to past workshops include clothes, nail polish, stereos, pet supplies, books, CD’s, picture frames, kitchenware, Halloween costumes, etc.
See you there, and don’t forget to register for this free workshop!
