Rain Ready: Wightman Street Park

Join I Love A Clean San Diego, Think Blue, and District 9 to tackle a floodplain with a history of high litter before the rains arrive. By stopping trash in its tracks, we prevent debris from flowing unfiltered through storm drains into our oceans and bays. Let’s make a difference, when and where it matters most!

In addition to litter removal, volunteers will have opportunities to support City of San Diego Parks and Recreation with beautification projects around the park. Breakfast, snacks, and refreshments will also be provided for volunteers to enjoy throughout the morning.

Dumpster Days Street Sweep

Join I Love A Clean San Diego, Council District 4, Council District 9, and SDG&E for a street sweep in Lincoln Park! We will divert litter from the San Diego Bay Watershed and keep it from traveling to the Pacific Ocean.

This is a street sweep to complement the Dumpster Days drop-off event! While residents do a drive-through bulky item drop-off, you can help us comb through the neighborhood and pick-up litter. Our staff will be set-up with a check-in table at the Willie Henderson Sports Complex. Join us at 9am to grab supplies and help us clean up!

This event requires a signed release-of-liability waiver for all volunteers, and anyone under 18 needs a waiver signed by a guardian.
