SHOE REPAIR & EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP

Repair & add an embroidery design to your shoes! 

Breathe new life into your old fabric shoes using colorful embroidery thread and a sewing needle. Do you have an old pair of Converse or Vans shoes in your closet that are in desperate need of an upgrade? Then this is the workshop for you. Stitch fun designs into your old fabric shoes and make them look new again! If you don’t have any shoes to embroider but still want to learn the skill, bring an item of fabric that you’d like to embroider: an old t-shirt, a tote bag, or even your favorite pair of jeans!

Materials to polish worn-out leather, and fix broken soles will also be provided.

This workshop will be led by Claudia Biezunski-Rodriguez, founder of Sew Loka upcycling brand.
