Join I Love A Clean San Diego for a day of family-friendly and sustainable activities at the City of Carlsbad’s Earth Month Celebration,  “Love Our Planet: There’s No Place Like Earth.” We will be having a clothing swap, DIY sustainable cleaning starter kits, as well as a community mural pop-up!

1. Clothing Swap- Bring in your gently-used clothing and “shop” for free items that others have donated—no money exchanged! It’s a great way to promote sustainability, reduce textile waste, and give clothes a second life instead of sending them to the landfill.
2. Everyday Sustainable Cleaning Starter Kits- Make and take a citrus all-purpose cleaner made from citrus peel scraps and learn about how to incorporate affordable and low-waste practices in our everyday lives!
3. Community Mural Pop-up- Grab a brush and take part in our community paint-by-numbers mural! We will be repurposing old banners into an art piece encouraging food waste prevention.

Participate in one or all and enjoy the rest of the day in the park as we celebrate our planet!
