Corporate Partnerships Help Engage Thousands With Our Environment While Supporting the Future of Our Nonprofit

Creek to Bay & Coastal Cleanup Day

Our major annual environmental cleanups are an excellent way to get your company, employees and brand engaged with environmental leadership. I Love A Clean San Diego (501(c)(3) annually produces the Creek to Bay Cleanup during Earth Week and Coastal Cleanup Day in September for residents and businesses of San Diego County. Combined, these countywide events are the largest environmental cleanups in the region. Each event attracts thousands of volunteers and cleans hundreds of thousands of pounds of litter from communities around the region. Corporate partnership is critical to sustaining these vital events that protect our waterways and marine life. Our partnerships are turnkey and create excellent employee volunteer opportunities.

I Love A Clean San Diego’s presentations are designed to inform employees about environmental topics and provide resources and actionable strategies that will inspire change. Whether your organization has a robust sustainability program or is new to its zero-waste journey, we have you covered!

Kids Ocean Day

Kids Ocean Day is a celebration of Kids taking action. Connecting thousands of students across California to the ocean and inspiring the next generation of environmental activists through education and hands-on experiences!

Sustainable Solutions Fair

Our Sustainable Solutions Fair (formerly known as Zero Waste Fair) is a sustainability celebration! This family-friendly event offers hands-on environmental activities for all ages, connects the public to sustainable businesses and organizations, and awakens environmental passion with a panel discussion featuring local environmental leaders.

Preserve the health of our beaches and our ocean! The Clean Beach Coalition concentrates on marine litter prevention along San Dieg’s most popular beaches during busy summer holidays.

Our Corporate CleanBuilding program provides customizable and educational cleanup activities for impact-minded businesses hosted entirely by I Love A Clean San Diego. Your team will work together to beautify a local outdoor space of your choice like a nearby beach, park, or canyon in any part of San Diego County!

Here are some of our accomplishments in 2014:WasteFreeSD.org: Our one of a kind hotline and database, WasteFreeSD.org fielded close to 14,000 requests for recycling information. Without this vital resource, residents would be left with nowhere to turn for recycling and proper disposal of hazardous items. This diverts countless amounts of waste from San Diego’s landfills, and prevents illegal dumping in our communities. Community Cleanups: We coordinated more than 28,000 volunteers last year to remove nearly 500,000 pounds of trash and recyclables from San Diego’s beaches, waterways, canyons, and parks. This debris is a threat to public health, wildlife, and the natural ecosystems in San Diego. Environmental Education: We empowered over 31,000 youth and adults in San Diego to make a positive impact on their environment. We know that youth hold the key to the environmental future of our community and our planet. Education provides inspiration to change their behaviors, helping minimize our community’s ecological footprint.

Here are some of our accomplishments in 2014:WasteFreeSD.org: Our one of a kind hotline and database, WasteFreeSD.org fielded close to 14,000 requests for recycling information. Without this vital resource, residents would be left with nowhere to turn for recycling and proper disposal of hazardous items. This diverts countless amounts of waste from San Diego’s landfills, and prevents illegal dumping in our communities. Community Cleanups: We coordinated more than 28,000 volunteers last year to remove nearly 500,000 pounds of trash and recyclables from San Diego’s beaches, waterways, canyons, and parks. This debris is a threat to public health, wildlife, and the natural ecosystems in San Diego. Environmental Education: We empowered over 31,000 youth and adults in San Diego to make a positive impact on their environment. We know that youth hold the key to the environmental future of our community and our planet. Education provides inspiration to change their behaviors, helping minimize our community’s ecological footprint.

Here are some of our accomplishments in 2014:WasteFreeSD.org: Our one of a kind hotline and database, WasteFreeSD.org fielded close to 14,000 requests for recycling information. Without this vital resource, residents would be left with nowhere to turn for recycling and proper disposal of hazardous items. This diverts countless amounts of waste from San Diego’s landfills, and prevents illegal dumping in our communities. Community Cleanups: We coordinated more than 28,000 volunteers last year to remove nearly 500,000 pounds of trash and recyclables from San Diego’s beaches, waterways, canyons, and parks. This debris is a threat to public health, wildlife, and the natural ecosystems in San Diego. Environmental Education: We empowered over 31,000 youth and adults in San Diego to make a positive impact on their environment. We know that youth hold the key to the environmental future of our community and our planet. Education provides inspiration to change their behaviors, helping minimize our community’s ecological footprint.
