DESCRIPTION:Join the free Eco Glam – Sustainable Fashion Workshop at the EUSD Farm Lab on Sunday\, November 16\, from 10 AM – 12 PM to learn how to create a conscious closet and reduce textile waste! \nThis event features a panel Q&A with local experts in sustainable fashion and textile recycling\, including representatives from Goodwill San Diego\, Kornelija Art\, and more. We’ll cover topics such as: \n\nTextile recycling and upcycling ideas\n\n\nLow waste laundry habits\n\n\nSecondhand shopping tips\n\n\nThe environmental impacts of fast fashion and how to avoid purchasing\n\nFollowing the panel\, attendees can enjoy a clothing swap hosted by ILACSD\, textile upcycling activities\, and shopping from sustainable clothing and accessories vendors. \nAttendees will be entered into a drawing to win a $20 Visa e-gift card\, distributed at the end of the event. Three winners will be chosen! \nRegistration is required. Thank you to the City of Encinitas for sponsoring this event!
