- Robin Oswald’s Art Made from Trash
Robin Oswald’s house borders a canyon that once served as a dumping ground where neighbors would burn their trash. Inflammable items were left behind such as glass, rubber, metal, and plastic. Robin’s love for the outdoors motivated her to clean up this natural oasis and make something beautiful out of what others no longer wanted. She collected trash, toys, jewelry, clothes, and other unwanted items from the canyon as well as landfills and made them into pieces of artwork that she one day hopes to hang in the canyon. Her artwork serves as a reminder to everyone that the land should not be taken for granted and that one person’s trash is another person’s treasure.
