Looking for something to augment classroom or informal learning settings? Look no further! I Love A Clean San Diego (ILACSD) offers a variety of environmental education and community outreach programs for schools, youth groups, adult organizations, and local businesses. ILACSD’s Education Department inspires environmental action through engaging teaching mechanisms, such as hands-on learning, Google Earth, universal concepts, PowerPoint, and videos, to teach the curricula. Relating information to the audience is important to ILACSD staff, so methods used depends upon the setting, size, and age of the audience.
ILACSD has developed innovative educational programs based on the idea that each individual has the power to make a positive impact on their environment and in their community. Presentations are delivered in a unique and effective manner and focus on a variety of topics, including:

• Watersheds
• Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rethink
• Household Hazardous Waste
• Used Oil Recycling
• Ocean and Water Pollution Prevention
• Ocean Conservation

    Adult Presentations

    Are you starting a recycling program at your office? Trying to reduce your waste? Want to set an example for your community? Does your community group want to become stewards? ILACSD can help! Schedule a presentation and ILACSD will talk to your group about relevant and current information specific to your location.
